crankshaft sprocket ?

crankshaft sprocket ?

hi guys when reinstalling the crankshaft sprocket (for the timing chain) how far in is it supposed to go? all the way till it touches the end? thank you.

Yes, It needs to be installed all the way back.

thank you one of the searches i did last night got me the answer as well. (after i posted). gonna go rent a harmonic balancer installer now.

k, i think its as far as it will go. theres about 1.5mm between the end of the sprocket and the block. is that how its supposed to be? or its gotta actually touch? it just doesnt wanna go anymore. help please thanks
