i just installed 305 cam and my car threw a code, the code read crankshaft poition sensor. so i bought a new one and put it on. But i still have the same code. i heard you need to tighten them down just right for them to work correctly, but thats only what i heard.

can someone please help me

is it possibly throwing the code because i dont have a lt4km?

 

save yourself the time and money and just order the obd-1 conversion for your car. had the same problem before the cam install.

 

I had the same problem too, and like you bought a new CPS. The computer falsely reads vibrations and throws a code....Youll just have to deal with the codes for now as they dont effect performance of your car.

Only real solution is to program the codes out with LT1 edit or to swap to an OBDI set up.
