I know you should use a 7.5 inch BS.. is there any way to get away with a 6.75 in BS.. casue i can get a set for a good price, but i don't want to if i can't get them to fit.

Might be possible.... depends on how much you want them to stick out. They will be moved about 3/4" further out from under the fender than these:

15x10, 7.5BS

IMO it won't look very good and it will stick out too much. Actually, sticking out AT ALL is too much for my taste.

i'm not that worried about the looks cause its for the track.. i just wanted to make sure they won't stick out to the point where a 27.5x12x15 or 27.5/11.5x15 wont hit the quarter panel.

what size slick do you run? did you have any clearance problems, or did you just bolt them on and go?

That's a Hoosier QTP 28x11.5-15. They fit with no problems, until trap speeds went over 125MPH... then they started growing enough that they were hitting the front (sheetmetal) edge of the wheel opening. I ended up moving the axle assembly back about 1/4", and let the tires start to "radius" the front edge of the rubber bumper cover instead. With a 27" tire you shouldn't have any problems at all.

Clearance

I just switched to M/T ET Drags, in a 28x10.5-15W, and I had to cut at least 1/2" off the edge of the bumper cover to even fit them in the wheel openings. The M/T's are listed as 28.1", but they seemed larger than that.
