Crankshaft position sensor code broke?

The check engine light on my car just came on, and I scanned it. it said I broke the PO 336 code or something like that. The scanner said it was the crankshaft position sensor. What does this mean? Thanks for your help.

There is a sensor on the lower RH side of the timing cover that keeps track of the crank. There is a problem with the sensor or maybe the connection. It won't have any effect on performance as it's only function on the LT1 is to detect misfires for OBD-II.

You might try resetting your pcm and see if the code comes back as sometimes a real rough road can cause it to hiccup.
