My crank pulley has 2 small chunks taken out of the ribs, will this hurt anything? and how much is a new one?

 

How did that happen???? I dont know what you mean by "chunks" so its kinda hard to tell you if it will hurt anything.

 

a few little sections of the ribs are missing. I have no idea how it happened, it looks like 1/8 inch long chips out of the ribs.

 

Chances sound good that it will eat up your serp. belt. Anyway I saw that happen on my sister's jeep. One of the 'ribs' was broken, and it split her belt into two belts! Anyway best to fix it before you are SOL in the middle of nowhere. check the for sale section, members hook each other up cheap there. Good Luck.
