Crank hub install

When putting the crank hub back on does it have to line up with anything? Its not keyed, but I was just wondering since I stuck it back on, do I need to pull it back off and reposition it?

Only if you want it to line up for judging TDC, like when adjusting valves and such.

Just a tip. While you have it at TDC, mark the balancer with a paint pen so you can easily find it again. TDC for #6 is also TDC for #1. Just compression vs exhaust strokes.

That's the same thing. The crank rotates twice for every time the cam does. 1 and 6 TDC are in the same position as far as the crank goes.
