crank case leaking oil

Hi everyone my crank case is leaking oil and smoking under boost pressure. I was wondering how difficult is it to replace the seal keeping in mind I'm not terribly mechanically inclined. Or, is it worth it to have a mechanic change the seal for me?

If you think $850 just to have it leak again in 15K is worth it. Follow this link on how to DIY. http://www.bfranker.badz28.com/fbody/intakefix.htm

Its actually easier than you think. I didn't do during my first leak because there was just to many hoses, cables, and valves attached. It looked overwhelming. Shortly after the fix I had to replace most of the EGR hoses and some of the other hoses that connect in and around the intake. It was really quite easy. Just take your time and follow the directions
