Crane coil

I'm pretty sure my coil is on it's way out and want to replace it. I'm thinking of getting either the Hyptertech or Crane coil. Would both of these work with an otherwise stock ignition, except the wires? Or would I need an ignition box of sorts?

Re: Crane coil

The coil is plug and play. No need for a box either but it doesnt necessarily hurt.
If you havent done so already, a full tune up would be a great idea to do at the same time.
