I have no idea, the heads were on my car when I bought it. If everyone else is saying they had no issues, I'm thinking its just a case with my car. The heads are casting # 10128374 if that matters.

On a motor that I just tore down for another board member it was runing the 10308 springs with 1.5 Crane golds, so far I found 1 to be hitting and it destroyed the self alignment part of the rocker and grooved the arm itself. I cant believe the retainer didnt come loose while running it to 7k. The rocker was actually riding on the retainer, because the guy who built the motor was an idiot and shaved the top of the valve a little too much. The guy my buddy bought the car from said it have Manley raceflos in it if it matters.

Running the 10308s on LT4 1.6 rockers with the cam in my sig. Manley street flow valves. No issues.

seemd like as long as the valve tips have not been jacked with, everything clears.
