Cracked the accessory bracket

Cracked the accessory bracket

I cracked it right where # 48 is from this link

Right were the thread goes so its like cracked in half there
is it still ok to run everything w/. the cracked bracket?
if not how hard is it to replace>

it took me a little while to pull one off a motor that was sitting outside on a stand so trying to replace one still in the car will definitely be a complete bitch.

Since the crack sounds like it is up on the top, you could probably have it welded by a competent aluminum welder without taking it off.

yeah, if it is through the threaded hole, i would have it welded solid, then drill and tap a new hole, tada, better than new

I don't remember it being that hard I guess that is why i let you work on that part while i took off the easy stuff.

well unbolting it wasnt but all the hoses from the PS and AC made it tricky.
