crack in bellhousing
I was removing exhaust manifolds etc.. tonight and noticed this..
What would cause this and what are my options?

Re: crack in bellhousing
Looks like the slave pushrod came off the fork end and the pedal was depressed, jamming it up, and cracking the bell. As long as your clutch is ok at current, I'd suspect this happened to a previous owner and you had just never noticed it

Thanks for the quick response.. I know the previous owner had the clutch replaced a long time ago so I am going to assume thats what happened.. The car ran fine and shifted great.. Glad to hear its not something I need to address this season.. Thanks again..
