hey guys,

I have a couple of questions..

1) I'm wanting to doublecheck the shortblock assembly that my rebuilder did. I can still remove the maincaps, clean off the moly, and then check tolerances with PlastiGauge, right?

2) Does the little waterpump driveshaft have to be installed a certain way, besides the obvious keyway. I noticed that the wear pattern on mine was somewhat uneven front to rear between the two seals so I marked which side went into the water pump gear drive.

3) I had my heads milled. At what point do I need to start using a shimmed head gasket?

4) Will 1.5 roller rockers clear my valve covers if I 'modify' the PCV baffle for clearance?
