couple questions about offroad pipes

first, are they all pretty much the same? I'm gonna get a set of shorties, prolly pacesetters just cuz they're the cheapest...changing over to LTs in a year or 2 but for now I wanna cheaply pick up some power and fix the exhaust leak that's drivin me nuts Thunder racing carries 2 offroad pipes, one that's for the AS&M and RK Sport, and another that says "for Borla or Stock Y-pipe, Hooker, Edelbrock, SLP or JBA Single Cat Style Headers"...I'm assuming the one for the AS&M is different cuz they're mid-lengths, and the other one will fit the y-pipe for all shorty headers?

Second - is it necessary to weld the ORP to the y-pipe, or can I just clamp it? Do they slip-fit onto the Y for the shorties? Can I use a band type clamp instead of a normal u-bolt clamp so it's easier to take apart later if necessary?

Third and most important ...where's the cheapest place to get an ORP?

To clamp, you'd have to have MAC headers. All the rest that I'm aware of would need to be welded, or weld on your own mechanism for making it removable.
