couple of questions

I plan on changing my starter myself. I just looked at it today and was wondering if you can remove the old starter with out cutting the y pipe? would it fit threw there?

also my low oil light comes on on the initial start up, but if i cycle my key to the off position and then on again the light goes away. Any suggestions of what this can be? thanks
