Could use bushings...

My front end is starting to feel a bit loose. I looked underneath today and noticed that some of my bushings' time have come. I'd like to go poly but I want to do the whole front end at once.

Does anyone know where I could get an entire poly set, preferably sold as a kit for the front end of my 95 Z?

Thankee

I just did mine. Prothane #7-227-BL. Got the kit from thunderracing.com

That kit came with all the bushings for the control arms upper and lower. The only thing it didn't come with it the sway bar bushings.

Did mine with an Energy suspension kit I bought from Autozone.
I was an employee at the time and got 20% discount.

Thanks for the info guys. Thunder Racing has been excellent to me in the past so they got my business once again.

All new front end bushings (including sway bar+endlinks) should be at my door in a week.

From my experience with other cars, it's getting the old ones out that is a pain...but made much easier with a torch. (Burn the rubber not the metal ) The new poly's slide in nicely...

Ewww no...don't burn the rubber itself unless you want to sit there and torch the rubber until it's all ash. Just heat up the inner sleeve until you can drive it out with a punch. Then heat up the shell until you can drive the rubber part itself out ( I use an old socket for that ). It will come out nice and clean and the cleaner you get it, the quieter it'll be down the road. grease em well. Prothane kits come with the grease. The entire front bushing kit minus the sway bar bushings was around 40 bukks.

Will try that method instead....sounds much less stinky.
