Could I be okay with SLP shorty on a 396 stroker???
I got a stroker that about to be put in in a couple weeks but Im trying hard to sell my shorty coated headers to get LT but lets say I dont manage could I be fine with shorty for lets say alittle while or should I got LT since the motor out?? Also what do you guys think about PaceSetter LT im looking at those cuz im on a budget....

Ive seen strokers motors still make good power w/ slp shortys...they'll be fine, even though you wont make as much power as you would w/ LTs. They might not have the best Y pipe but pacesetter makes a good LT.

I'd try to get LT's that way its not such a pain in the *** when you finally swap them. I am assuming the motor is out. If not the shorties will work, just not as well.

I have Pacesetter LT's, Pacesetter ORY, Loudmouth catback (replaced resonator with LM II though). Went together pretty easy and it looks good. Paid $400 shipped brand spanking new for the headers and $150 for the ory.

I run LPE shorties with 1 3/4" primaries and my time is in my sig...I am going to the Kooks 1 3/4" stepped to 1 7/8" LT for next season so it'll be a good comparo, but the shorties have always done well for me...

Yes the motor is out and my 396 is goin in but im am on a limit. Slp are good since there 1 3/4 for the moment but I rather go LT also, did anyone run into problem with LT with no cats. I notice when I took my cat off it ran hella sh**ty but once I put a High Flow it ran like a champ, WillI have this problem with LT???
