Could bad Valve Cover Gaskets Cause Oil all over the Engine Bay?

Just wondered, I have small droplets of oil all over the valve covers, and top of the intake. I have new valve covers, but I reused the factory valve cover gaskets. Could they just be worn out? It is not the intake, I fixed that already....just looking for ideas, tired of oil leaking all over!

That could be your problem. Did you ever have the dreaded LT1 intake leak?

it could be the valve covers but not likely. i've reused the stock gaskets numerous times with no problems. especially if the oil is on top of them. i'd bet that its coming from somewhere around the timing cover and the belt and pulleys are slinging the oil around.

The crank seal on the timing cover appears to be leaking, but there is no oil on the belt or the upper pullies, but I guess there wouldnt be as fast as they spin....I mean I drove it again, and there is oil everywhere! On top of the valve covers, intake etc...!
