I know I have posted about this before...but the care hesitates at low rpm's (under 3500) but about that it moves like crazy. It actually feels like it is being governed or something. I pulled a plug the other day and had a nice light brown color to it. But it does have a bit of a 'gas' smell when I start it!?
Any ideas?

 

It could be in a worst case scenario. But check for simple stuff like a burnt wire, crack vacuum line, bad egr valve, clogged fuel filter. Which all can cause low rpm hesitation.

Process of elimination, check the wires, have it scanned for SES codes

 

Could also be the o2 sensors.
