Cost for ported heads/cam

This summer when i start workin more i wanted to get my heads ported and do a cam swap. I have to eventualy do emissions so i cant go too crazy, I was thinkin mabie a cc305 or LT4hotcam. along with some 1.6rr's

Anyone know how much money im lookin at to get the heads done and install everything?

with full exhaust (LT's hooker catback) electric waterpump, underdrive pullies,160* tb bypass, K&N fipk, airfoil,
can i see 340rwhp with a slight possibility to pass emissions?

for emissions i could do the "dry gas" trick

thanks

should i do the work myself?
i think the cam would be the hardest to do.

should i take the heads off myself and then get them ported?
should i send the intake manifold too? what about gaskets? Should i buy intake and exhaust gaskets to send with the heads?

as for the block, should i cover up the top of the naked motor?

i jsut want to learn about what would be involved.

i would be buying:
1.6rr
hd timing chain
lifters
new springs (LT4 ?)
Pushrods (necessary?) 90kmiles
head gasket
intake gasket
exhaust gasket
timing cover gasket
waterpump gaskets
?

Its not just the price of a cam and labor for the port work thats involved. There are so many other things that you need to do that when its all said and done you'll have 3000-3500$ wrapped up in it, easily.

I did what you are talking about last summer. It wound up costing me about $5500 installed. I had Lloyd Elliott port and polish the heads and then bought all the rest of the stuff myself. I took it to the shop and had it all put on the car. Basically, I went from stock to what's in the sig.

If you are going to have someone port the heads, I would buy a set used from someone. Have them ported and then sell your stockers once you get them off the car. All it will really cost you is the extra shipping.
