cost effective LT1 clutch?

Just wondering if anyone knows of any cost effective LT1 clutch solutions. It's time to buy a clutch, and I need to know what's best for my buck while spending as little as I can. I heard you can use Z06 discs, stock pressure plates, etc. Can anyone help? The cars about done and I'm pretty tight on cash...it doesn't need to last forever, just right now. I'll probably end up upgrading to a spec clutch anyway.

Advance Auto Parts and Autozone both sell a kit with pressure plate, clutch disk, throwout bearing, pilot bearing/bushing and alignment tool. Autozone sells it for $195.99, Advance for $236.99. I went to Advance and they price matched the Autozone price. That's the best price I've seen.

I would recommend going with a RAM clutch if you are on a budget. Normally I would recommend going with a McLeod Street Twin but it probably does not fall in your budget.

I installed that kit from Advance Auto an thought it was pretty good @ first (LT4 PP / tob & disc...... did the normal break-in procedure. Took my Z to the track, went easy on it the first couple of passes.... then heated the Nittos up / hooked really well , and that was enough to shred/burn up the disc. I suggest if you get that kit to install the LT1 disc SLP sells.( The one in the kit IMO lacks overall quality, and might hold up well in a stock application)
