Corvette Brake Purchases

Wondering if anyone has purchased a Corvette conversion from Jason Cromer and if so how much you paid. That include rotors, calipers, pads, and brackets. Thanks.

I wasn't aware that GM made a brake conversion kit. How/where did you find this out from?

Not really a conversion kit per say, im just converting by buying all the parts seperatly. They should after all these years and as many people that upgrade the brakes on camaros make a kit however.

Check out this post. It has some good info and part numbers.

You can check prices on part numbers with www.gmpartsdirect.com
Their prices before shipping are about the same as Jason's. Usually a little less, but close.

Re: Corvette Brake Purchases

I purchased a set of Bob Bishop mounting brackets several years ago and bought a complete set of used rotors w/ new pads, rotors and brake lines from a guy on the Corvette forums.

I bought the whole complete C5 setup for less than $300, but now the brackets alone are almost that.

Here is a group purchase going on Bob Bishop C5 mounting brackets.
