Copper Seal Head Gaskets, need a retorque?

The ones on the car have about 200 miles on them, and after the install, I never did retorque them. Do they need retorqued?

Reason I ask, is I'm getting some coolant leaking from the passenger side head. Atleast I'm pretty sure thats where it's coming from.

If they were torqued properly to start with (and even if they needed to be re-torqued), I don't see why you should have a leak. I would be concerned. Did you use thread sealant on the head bolts?

I did use sealant on the studs, however the leak isn't coming from the studs. I can actually see the coolant in between the block and the passenger side head. I think it may only be when the engine is running which is strange, cuase if I turn my key forward the water pump works just the same as the engine running (electric water pump).

I've suspected for awhile that I had some kind of leak, because I could never get the coolant to stay topped off.. But when I started my car ran it for a few minutes, and looked under the car, the coolant was dripping out.. then stoped after a minute or so...few minutes later, I turn the key forward so the pump runs, and nothing..

I dont know, Kinda at a loss.
