Cooling Question.

Here in Houston, it gets DAMN hot. I usually run at about 210. What are my options as far as lowering my temps?

Thanks!

There are three ways you can set the fans to come on early to avoid high temp.

1-Homemade fan switch.
2-Jet fan switch.
3-SLP fan switch.

If you do a search you'll fine which route you may want to do.

thank you, but i was thinking of more serious modifications than simply a fan switch. do they help much?

How about a 160 deg. thermostat, hypertech programmer or comp. programmed to kick the fans at lower temp and griffin or becool radiator.

You can go that route. However here in Chicago in the mid summer months it gets Hot & Humid. I used to run around 210 or more but now I have a 160 therm, Mezier Elec WP & a fan switch. My car never gets over 180 now.

My .02
Good Luck

$180 - 200 range.
Lifespan is better then when they first came out. I think they claim like 2000 hrs. Not sure though.
You can get a CSI too for a bit cheaper. If you do a search on the electric WP's you will see a ton of info on them & view peoples opinions about each.
