the sensor on the pic goes in the water pump. and how hot is your temp getting. do you have your fans reprogramed, i did notice your sign days you have a 160 therm. if so you need a manual fan swith or get your fans reprogramed. i had the same problem and a manual fan swith fixed it. also make sure your coolent is bled.

the problem is that the sensor in that pic is different than the one in the water pump of my car. i dont know where to get a new one.

well go to a gm dealer if you need teh one thats on your car. and how r u certain its your censor. how hot is your car getting. you still havent answered that on eaither post. its kinda hard to help solve your problem if you dotn answer the questions were asking. i had the exact problem but i never had to replace the sensor. there might not me a reson to replace it.

It doesn't matter what the part that goes inside the pump looks like. The manufacturer can make it any way they want as long as it fuctions like OEM. If it plugs in ok and tests ok, then it is ok.

it gets as far up as i let it get. the only way to stop it is to turn the ac on. also, it has not started up easily lately. could it be because of the sensor disconnected and thus screwing with the efi?
