cooling issues

cooling issues

hey guys i was just wondering what i should do about keeping my car cooler. I have a 1994 Z28 and I live in Phoenix, az so its crazy hot everyday and i just wanna keep my temp down as much as possible please help

Flush the entire system really good.Check the condition of all the hoses.Use fresh coolant with some water wetter.It does work.Also clean the radiator and A/C condenser with compressed air or power wash them.Make sure the lower air dam is in place.That should do it for you.You could use an electric w/p but I really dont recommend it. what about manual fan switch or the jet thing that connects into the computer to bring the fans on sooner would those help out as well or are they just a waste of money, thanks for the info by the way

Yeah,I forgot to mention to make sure the fans are workin right.A 160* t-stat and reprograming are the way to go with that.PCMforless does a great job...it will give ya a little more power too.And you are welcome...

how do i get it reprogrammed im new to all this stuff i used to have a 79 camaro where is this pcm for less place how do i go about all this?

Go to the LT1 main page and click on supporting vendors at the top of the page...scoll down a bit and they are there.Give them a call.You can ship you PCM to them and wait,or I believe he can give you a core...You have to return yours for credit.Bryans a good guy to deal with.
