Cooling fan setup for project

I have a 95 camaro z28 LT1 in my s10 blazer. I am trying to wire up a cooling solution. Right now I am running a taruas fan (I know ford product, believe me I catch hell :-P ). Any how did 95 camaro's come with 3 relay setup or 2? Also do the the dual electric fans for a 95 camaro function well? I am looking into putting those in because the taruas fan moves all the wind in the world but is loud as a jet and it makes me nervous to just have one fan for cooling in case it decides to die.

thanks for any advice

A 95 has 3 relays[dual 2 speed fans]
The 2 relay[dual, primary and secondary, single speed 'early production']changed to 3 relay [dual, 2 speed, 'late production']about halfway thru 94..
The fans are the same though.. just that the 3 relay system runs them in parallel [high] or in series[low speed]
Here's the wiring schematic for both types[from shoebox' site]:

Thanks for the help! Great link also. Do you think I could get a relay setup off a camaro to run it or is it just as easy to wire it up. Just asking.

Instead of relays run a fuse and a 12+ to a switch and your fan or to what ever senser you are using.

I was thinking about letting the pcm control them sense I'll be installing ac and all. If I wired it up like the camaro had it, it should control both of them? I think. Which dual fan setup works best or are they qall seem from LT1's to LS1's?

The way I have my car setup I can have the fans on at a switch or let the PCM turn them on. I dont know about the LS1s fans How does the S-10 run with that engine in there I thought of doing the same thing.

Yeah thats how I want them to run. I want to be able to cut them on manually but still have the computer control them all the time so no one can turn them off over the computer. I have seen a kit for control on one of these vendor sites I think.

Its been fun doing it. My last technicial issue I have to finish is installing a typhoon instrument cluster. The truck runs awesome. I mean I am not use to a V8 in such a small vehicle like that. My largest problem or course is traction just simply don;t have the right rear setup yet to get it plus I am a feather weight compared to the camaro it came from. Its a hell alot of fun to drive now compared the old 2.8L it had before. If you enjoy playing with one it sure is a fun plat form if you find a good deal on a LT1 or LS1 you can swap in. I have seen a LS1 in a s10 I can only imagine how much of a monster it is. There is one thats for sale that has turbos on it I think or he was in the process of installing them last I looked.

Looked at your home page. Nice Z28. Also like the looks of the vet.

You'll need relays since the PCM sends a ground signal to the relays to activate the fans..
The actual fans[2 or 3 relay setup] are the same..
Just follow the above schematics... you can do either the 2 relay[single speed primary and secondary fans... easier to do] or 3 relay[dual low and high speeds] the PCM signal is the same.. [in fact I was going to 'upgrade' from 2 to 3 relay fans setup.. it's on my neverending 'list' here..]
Shouldn't be that hard to do .. I would think that you could do it with aftermarket relays.. the key is the A10 [dark blue]& A11 [dark green] wires from the PCM that are going to trigger [ground/activate] the relays..
Wiring a manual fan switch to 'override' the PCM wouldn't be hard either.. just the standard way.. [there are writeups for that available]
