I know some of the LT1s came with block heaters but mine does not have it, i live in NJ and it does not get REALLY cold out here, but it still takes like 5 min to get heat and like 10-15 min to warm up the engine completly, but i was looking in JcWhitney and they have a engine heater in there that is put in-line of the heater hoses and circulates warm coolent through the engine. they have 4 different sizes and I was thinking about getting one, it says it warms 8-cyl engine in 2 to 3 hours, so i would just set it on a timer to turn on....that would be really cool....i mean warm....anyone have any experiance with that, i would get faster heat and less wear on the engine.
