After a few wot runs we could smell some faint coolant in the car, checked under the hood and it smelled like it but nothing from the wp. Nothing leaking or obvious. Proceeded to turn on the heat and smelled like coolant for a few seconds then nothing. Did some more wot runs later and no coolant smell at all. Did headgaskets last summer, what gives?

That was my first thought, because i did flush it out before winter. Although I dont understand how the smell gets into the car. This was the first time ive beat on it this hard since i flushed the heater core, which btw did give me a hella lot warmer air.

 

The heater core could be leaking a small amount. That would cause the smell inside the car.
