Coolant pipe

Anyone have the Gm part number for the coolant pipe that connects on the back of the two cylinder heads and comes towards the front of the engine? Anyone know where i can get one or can i just plug the holes? If i need to replace it then part numbers for the bolts also please....Thanks....

DO NOT PLUG them.. bad idea.. you can get them a dealer.. there not that bad they come with the bolts... i payed 38 for mine.. just call the dealer ask for parts and explain the part to them they should e able to help..

You also need seals.

1995-1997 steam pipe behind heads, incl bolts and seals - 12556260 - $24.91

1993-1997 coolant steam pipe seals - 10108689 - $3.00

1993-1997 coolant steam pipe bolts - 12552974 - $3.07

The early pipe contiunues with a rubber hose to the radiator. The late pipe stops to elbow into the throttle body.

For a nicer look, you can get two 1/4" to 6AN fittings, some 6AN lines, a tee fitting and have a nice braided line setup that cleans up the engine bay a little.
