Coolant overflow tank and battery tray one assembly?
It's got to be. I tried removing mine this past week. Apparently before I bought the car the battery exploded, and the acid corroded some of the metal around the tray. I was trying to get the tray out but one of the bolts was snapped off. I don't know what I'm gonna do. But yeah I'm pretty sure the tank and tray are one piece.

Yeah, they are. I just had my tray replaced because one of the bolts corroded and snapped in half, and they told me that it was one assembly. it was worth it thought because the bolt that was snapped would have been a pain in the *** to drill or tap out.
Do you know how they did that?? That is what happened to mine. The bolt that holds the battery clamp in place towards the rear snapped. I tried to take my dremel with a cut off wheel and put a notch in the top of the snapped bolt so maybe I could turn it with a screwdriver....... no luck

Two things I can think of. If you are trying to salvage the tray, you can buy a tap set and get it out like that. If you really don't care about the tray, like me, since mine was broken anyway, just drill that sucker out. I think it would be safer probably to see if you can tap it and unscrew it like that though.
