Apparently the coolant level sensor area is leaking and im wondering if there is some way to seal it... short of getting a new sensor? Does the sensor have an o-ring.. maybe one that i could replace with a generic piece. its not a huge leak but its annoying. any ideas?

 

It has a ring on it.

Is the thin steel piece still there holding it down? You could try some copper rtv I guess. That would probably work.

 

Actually, it has two o-rings for sealing.
