Question Coolant hose replacement

Has anyone replaced the coolant hose that runs from the water pump to the heater core? I think I may have a small leak.

I kinda figured it would be. The worst part about it is I can't tell where the leak is, but it seems to be after where it start to run on this inside of the body.

The heater hoses don,t run anywhere on the inside of the body. It looks like it but they don,t.
Its not hard to replace, getting to the star head bolt holding em in down by the manifold is tuff but not impossible.
I recently ditched the whole HVAC system and just yanked em out and tossed them in the trash. or I would send it to you.

Re: Coolant hose replacement

I had a small leak just where the hose starts at the pump. I just cut that part and replaced it with a new hose and clamped it to the metal part, where the purge screw is.

Re: Coolant hose replacement

damn this cursed hose - had my headers burn through the back part by the heater - not wanting to replace whole thing i got a brass barb - cut out section and clamped it - now i have a pinhole leak by the bleader screw at front of engine - so going to cut hole thing out and just clamp new hoses onto the metal as stated above

I think I found the pin hole. Anyone know if a PVC coupling will hold up to coolant temps?
