I do believe your heater core may be shot, or one of the hose fittings at the core, they are both located right there.

Just wondering is your windshield fogging up as well.

Sounds like it might be heater core related if it's on the inside passenger floor.

It gets worse, replace it, factory heater is around 100.00 or more I'm pretty sure, but go to a junkyard and look for 93 and up camaro with low miles and rip one out of it. they'll sell it to you for around 10.00

Not really too sure on how much the newer ones like this go for. I'd call your local auto parts store and see if they have it in stock and ask how much. I know the ones for older GM cars are about $35-$50 bucks. Not sure as to how hard it's to remove too.
I know a lot of other guys on the board here have removed them for weight, so hopefully some one can give you an idea there.

If your going through all that trouble, I really would put a new one and forget about an old one. You don't want to have to tear it out again.

It does get worse and will fog up even more.

It'll take him about 20 minutes, after ripping it out of the junk one in the junkyard, he will know exactly how it comes out/goes back in. It takes longer to drain the coolant. Old I meant meaning low miles like less then 40,000. they go bad in our cars usually 80,000 and up

bypassing the heater is not recommended IMO it will run hotter due to less coolant being in the system just replace it would be a good option.

you only have to move the glove box per say just press it together at the ends, you'll see what I mean, it looks harder then it really is.

A new heater core from Autozone was under $50 I can't remember exactly how much I paid. It took under and hour to swap in the new one. Just pull out the glove box and take off the black cover. And disconect the two lines in the engine bay. The hardest part is getting those clips back one.
