Unhappy Coolant Bleeder alternative

Well while flush/refilling my system last night the head of the thermostat housing bleeder screw snapped off. Took the bleeder off the housing, took it to autozone, nope, took it to napa, nope. I searched the boards and found the GM part number, but I really dont want to pay $8 for a bleeder screw lol.

Anyone got an alternative bleeder screw or know of some auto parts stores that carry GM coolant bleeder screws?

Just pay the $8. That's not a whole lot for a pretty important SCREW.
If you will even find one at some place, it won't be under $5 anyway.

You can just use a brass plug. It won't be as convenient to use as a bleeder screw, but will still work.
