i was under my truck and seen some coolant around the timin cover if my water pump is bad will it leak into the opti behind the the cover

 

what type of vehicle, year, make?? but if you have an opti yes the waterpump can leak onto the opti and ruin it. their is a weep hole on the bottom of the waterpump thet tells you its bad and needs changing(great place huh right about the opti).
