ha thats outta control....

its the light that has the water waves and the arrow pointing down...when i got my oil change the guy said it was low and then when i was up visiting my brother i got in my car down at the visitor parking lot and pulled it up to their apartment...the light came on and stayed on until i shut it off when i got up to the apartment and then i got my stuff and left and the light didnt come back on when i fired it up..well it came on but then it went off ...like it normally would just like all the other lights....

so its ok to top it off? using a 50/50 solution with water is a good idea correct? does it go into the same tube where the check stick is or somewhere else?

so its straight to mix half all season antifreeze/coolant protection and half distilled water and put it in the tube that says only engine coolant, where you check the coolant level..thanks

The best fix for this is pull the light... when the sensor gets dirty or goes kapoot it stays on most of the time and goes off when it pleases... It happens... you replace the sensor or pull the light..me personally, I check the coolant often along with all fluids...so I dont need this sensor, I have a just keep an eye on the temp...

yeah, 50/50... so you are loosing coolant? if so check for leaks..or worse, your water pump... o and I just pour mine into the radiator itself...

First fill up the radiator if it is low (do not open hot cap)...if that is full and the coolant is still low on the stick just add to the resovoir, use a 50/50 mix (half coolant half water) for 96 and up make sure you use a coolant called "dex-cool" it is an extended life coolant and is orange NOT GREEN.

fill it with the 50/50 or strictly coolant?

Do that and use 50/50 or straight coolant. Easy if you do it first thing in the morning when it is stone cold. Fill the radiator and then fill the remote reservoir to the proper level if needed.
