Converting Victor Sportsman Intake

If I were to put a Victor Sportsman intake on a set of AFR LT4 210's:

1. What would dictate how you machine it for the fuel injectors? What would I use?
2. What fuel rails would I use?
3. Would a Holley 4bbl Throttle body fit under a stock T/a hood?

Also- if I were to remove my opti, and configure my engine so I could run a distributor w/ an MSD 7AL- what machining would be required? What would I do with the front of the motor? Just install a timing cover?

I am pretty excited, this summer, I will set up my car (strange 12blt, Rebuilt 4L60e, Cage, Suspension, P1SC), so in the winter I can just focus on the motor, fuel and converter.

might as well just go to a regular carb sbc, not the lt1

would be a better setup due to the infinite number of heads out there for sbc.

Would it be possible to retain OBD1, or would I need something like FAST? I know there are many other heads out there- Brodix, Dart, etc... Do you think they'd all be better than the AFR 210?

I guess a normal 355, would also be cheaper, hmm? Plus I already have the crank (on the way), rods, and pistons. I could also sell my 4 bolt LT1 block for funds too.

Also- I take it brackets on a S/c kit are for placement within the engine compartment? And that it should bolt up to any 355 within the bay?

Steve, you'll like this.

http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/index.html

When you get there go to Multi Point Fuel Injection then to Race EFI.

There's the intake ready to go. Edelbrock also sells the fuel rails and the throttle bodies. Or you could go to someone like Force EFI or Full Throttle Performance for that stuff. I beleive the price on the Ede manifold is ~$350.00. To give you an idea, I had a Vic Jr converted by Force here 3 years ago. Cost me ~300.00 for the conversion work itself.

You could go to an individual coil setup, an opti eliminator, the LTCC kit, the Dynaspark, there are lots of options. Search this forum and you'll find a few topics on these things.

You don't necessarily have to go FAST. You could always go with a less expensive (maybe used) Accel Gen 6 setup. If you retain the opti and don't go past 7k, you can just use the stock pcm.

I've done a bit of research on this so shoot some questions.

Later,
-Mg

Haha... You RULE!
I was on their site but failed to think of that EFI setup.

So...I could retain the factory PCM with that setup? I trust it mates to the LT4 heads well? You think I should keep the opti? I guess I could always change it after the fact.

And yes- I will be under or at 7000, even with a solid roller. I'd really like to make 500hp on motor alone.
