converting auto to 6 spd

do i have to get my whole engine 355 rebalanced to a flywheel now or can i just throw the 6 spd in

You need a flywheel, but most engine shops should be able to balance it with another LT1 crank. Try to bring it to whomever built your 355 for ya.

When you pull the flex-plate off, take it, along with the new flywheel, and have the flywheel balanced to match the flex-plate.
