Consequences of leaving the coolant crossover tube off the heads?

Hey guys, I'm getting sick and tired of fighting with this coolant crossover tube, the one that links the heads together. I've had my car down for over a week now and am tired of being without a ride. What would happen if I just plugged those holes?? I've done the TB bypass btw.

Don't do it! I'm not sure what kind of problems you are having, but I just cut a section out of mine and used fuel line and hose clamps to make the connection. It's worked great now for about 20,000 miles.

I believe it vacates 'steam' pockets [which can cause hot spots..]
I'd leave it on there..

Oh man that was a PITFA. I finally got the coolant crossover tube back on, and remembered that I had forgotten the circle gaskets that go between the head and the flat part of the tube So I pulled one side of the tube off at a time and put the washer in and messed with them until I got the bolts to catch, then did the other side. Argh what a stupid design. If that leaks I will pay someone to do it. Fk doing that again.
