Connector on back of manifold broke???What is it??
I was taking my intake off of my new engine and that little connector on the back of it, broke off. I went to shoebox's website and I think it may be the connector for fuel pressure regulator http://csce.uark.edu/~jgbertr/rb/fue..._valve.jpg...I don't know however. What is it and how do I fix it. There is this tiny little clamp looking thing that it looked like it broke off of...it almost just fell right off. All suggestions would be greatly apreciated. Thanks.

The engine is out of the car and on a stand. I didn't take the fuel rails off, just the whole intake and heads so I could send them off to get ported. The piece is a black plastic connector. The FPR was not connected to the engine. I was putting a plastic bag over all of the parts and when I pulled it over the intake that plastic piece just came off.
From looking at shoebox's website, I think it may be that...however the engine in my dads garage and don't have the piece handy. I wish I had the dang thing here so I can describe more of what it looked like adn what it is connected to.
Mine doesn't have all of that stuff attached to the back. It looks like it came off of that "cap area" in the back. It is about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide and connects to something. When I scrolled down, could it be the part where the FPR connects into? Those were some good reference pics...THANKS!!
it wouldnt possibly be one of the 2 black plastic rings that the wiring harness clips into is it?? they clip into the top of the fuel rail. most of that things on at intake are pretty durable so i dont see how you could break them unless you dropped the intake.. those black plasic ring type clips however arent that important.
On the bottom right picture dave supplied, what goes into that hole where there are two bolts on either side of it...that is kinda where that thing was comming out of.
Nevermind that is the EGR pipe to the exhaust manifold.
