How much HP is stock connecting rods good for in a 93 LT1

I've heard the PM rods are good to around 450-500

I would agree with those numbers. But if your looking to the high side of them or higher, I would use ARP rod bolts and have the beams polished.

GMPP sells them as good to 450hp, that is stock bolts and a conservative GM estimate, honestly there are people making well over that on power adder equipped stock lowerends. I know one Impala owner with dyno sheets showing 466hp 611ft.lbs. TO THE TIRES, with ported iron heads the Crane 227 cam(small by standards even in the Impala community) and some juice, amazingly enough it was a stock tranny as well.
