Confuse!
Confuse!
How can a person get people to respond? Does everyone belong to some kind of club or something, or must a person belong to a specific group in order for people to reply? Can anyone get advice here?
Re: Confuse!
Be clear, concise and provide as much information as you can when you want help.
Use the search to help find info about your problem.
I never saw your first post, but no one on an internet bulletin board is obligated to respond to any post.
Posts like this won't help make you any friends.

Re: Confuse!
Just for the record, here's your 1st post from 5/26:
As you can see, if you post a question, it will slip off the top page very quickly. In order to get your post back up to the top of the page, it is permissable to do a "to the top"..... simple reply to your own post, and type "ttt" for the message. Note that this is permitted only once in each 24-hour period. Since your original post was made on 5/26 you could have "ttt"d it several times since then.
The "topic" of your 1st post was "Please Help". That kind of a "topic" seldom gets results. You need to at least use a couple more words to describe the kind of "help" you need...... "Please Help - Intermittent Sputtering" might have gotten more reads and responses.
Another helpful hint.... add a "signature" to your posts. In it include the year of your car, trans type and any major mods. You did show the year in the body of your message, but it helps people answer it they know it is a relatively stock setup, or if its highly modified.
It would also have been helpful if you used a more descriptive term/terms than "spuddering". Is it a misfire? Is it a "stumble"? It is a slight loss of power? Does it feel like something is pulling timing? Since it only happens after you've been "running it a little hard", it would appear it might be temperature related. Have you checked the coolant temp gauge to see if you can correlate the "spuddering" to a high coolant temp?
Finally.... the MOST COMMON problem in the many posts here are "stumbling", "sputtering", "surging", etc. As a result, there are numerous threads that identify and describe these problems, have many posts suggesting "fixes", and have followup posts by the original author explaining what he/she did to solve the problem. People generally like to see some evidence that you used the "search" feature to find the answer.
Hopefully you will find the above info helpful. There is no "club".... no one is out to get you.... you aren't being intentionally ignored. Your post slipped off the top page quickly, perhaps because it had a weak "topic", perhaps because the problem needed more definition, or perhaps because there was no evidence you had done a "search".
Might be a good idea to start over, using the helpful hints that have been offered. Getting pi$$ed off and offending people isn't going to help.... at least not based on my 7 years of trying to help people on this forum....

It only spudders sometime and not all the time, mainly when the engine reaches operating temp when I've been running it a little hard. After this problem is fixed what can I do to beef it up a little, not to major or alot of $$$$. Any suggestions!!!
