Confirming all oil through the filter before hitting bearings
Confirming all oil through the filter before hitting bearings
Hey all,
Very noob question, I know, but have to be sure that all of the oil goes through the filter before going to any bearings such as mains and rod. Further, I have the bypass plugged so that is not an issue.
I ask because it looks as if when I reassembled my oil pan, it was not clearanced correctly and it hitting ever so slightly on the rod bolt in one location. Terrible way to clearance an oil pan but then again, my oil pan has been a serious leaker for other reasons and now I have it sealed tight. I don't want to take it back apart and risk the start of leaks.
Thanks

Debris will mess up the oil pump too.
