computer relearning?

After I installed my brand new opti my car idled really low. After it ran for awhile I killed it and it started back up. After killing it and restarting it a few times it is now running great! Was that just the computer or what?

may have been - it takes a bit of driving around for the computer to completly relearn - if it keeps on doing it get it scanned.

just yestertday had the same problem (very low idle) with a 2000 chevy pu. It was the battery cables were loose. It ran fine after I tightened them. Might not have anything to do with your problem but its worth checking. Alan
