Computer questions

Ok i have a 1993 camaro motor in my S-10. I have a 700R4 trans. Can i use a M6 computer and still have the automatic trans still fully funtional?

I don't believe the 700-R4 is electronic. I'm sure it has sensors though. I'd call a tranny shop or talk to frank on here (i forget what his screename is though). Someone will be able to help.

Well the only thing thats electronic that i will be worried about is the lock up. I just need to know if the auto and manual computers are compatible. Will a M6 computer work with an A4 car?

Yeah i was really trying to get around the $160 for the controller. MAybe ill just wiat for the auto computer.

Is the computer a 93 computer or a 94+ computer?? If it's a 93 computer, then you can simply have the removable flash chip reprogrammed with the A4 calibration. There's no difference in the 93 computers, just the programming. Easy to take care of. Also, the 93's used the 4L60 which is more or less a 700R4, so you should be ok there too.
