compstar cranks discontinued

i just called callies to get a quote on my rotating assembly. i told him im wanting to build a 383 out of my lt1, and i want to use the compstar line. he told me that they havent got enough orders for the one piece seal compstar cranks. he said that they dont have any in stock, and they wont be getting anymore, ever. what the ****. i found a decent crank for a decent price, that has good reviews, and i cant get it now that im ready....

Here is a complete assembly..forged compstar crank, forged rods and pistons for 1999.00. You might want to jump on it quick if interested.

www.competitionproducts.com sells "Howard's Cams" brand stuff and they offer American made parts including cranks at nice prices.

They have Callies do the machining on forgings made in I think Louisville. Competition Products is only 30 minutes from me but so far I have not used them for any big engine pieces, just fasteners and such but so far all experiences good.

One piece rear mains are mixed in with the others.

You know you can use an adapter and use a 2-piece main crank in a LT1 too right?
