Isn't stock Chamber smaller which would translate into higher compresion ratios.

Stock is 58cc....Lt4 is 54cc..the lower the number the higher the compression on a stock piston/engine

Re: Compression Ratio With AFR Heads

It actually varies from stock head casting to stock casting, but all I've seen are in the 58 to 55 cc range. But the air moves completely different in an AFR head than in a stocker, so a tune will really make them shine.

Re: Compression Ratio With AFR Heads

A good heads and cam set-up tuned properly can add a GREAT amount of horsepower, I have seen people with the CC306 and ported heads dyno everywhere from 340 RWHP to 398 RWHP.
