Question CompCams Magnum vs. Pro-Magnum Rockers

As the title suggests, can anyone give some thoughts/ideas/opinions on whether the CompCams Magnum rockers would be a good upgrade? I know many people here run the Pro-Magnum, but right now price is an issue. Also, with 127K on the motor, I figure any little bit will help with power until I'm ready (forced) to rebuild.

Thanks.

No, the Magnum rockers look like the stockers, except they have a roller tip. THe Pro-Magnums have the roller tip as well as needle bearing truinions (and I think they are stronger chromemoly steel).

IMO, I would not bother with roller tipped rockers. The full roller rockers give the most benefit. I think if you compare the price of the two, the Pro Mags are a better value.

Ditto, i wouldn't waste my money on the magnums because you'll end up upgrading later. You could just get some nice used ones. I have a magazine laying around where they dynoed all the diff rockers and i think going from a roller tip to a full roller gained like 8 hp and decreased oil temp because of less friction.
