Comp rocker poly lock set screw depth?

A while back I found several rocker arm poly locks cracked, determined I was tightening them down way too tight causing the failures. I then set them to about 20-25 ft/lbs, pretty much as tight as I could get them with a short allen wrench.
6 months later yesterday, a loud ticking noise develops while on the dyno yesterday, pull the valve cover and 3 of them are cracked again!!

They are cracking right where the bottom of the allen set screw is, the top of the allen set screw is about flush with the top of the nut...see pic below.

I'm beginning to wonder if I need about an 1/8" taller rocker stud to put the bottom of the allen set screw at just a few threads into the nut so the pressure is where the nut hex head is instead of down on the thinner part of the nut below the hex head.....if so they (comp) sure don't give you much threads to work with!!

So, others with Comp poly locks, how high are your set screws sticking up above the top of the nut?

What other poly lock options are there that would be made thicker and stronger than these Comps??

Here's where mine set at
