Talking comp ratio and spark plugs (heat range)

does your comp ratio have anything to do with what heat range you run?should i run a hotter plug (i have 11.4 comp ratio)and will i gain any hp? right now i am using stock heat range any suggestions for my comp ratio?and what are the benifits of running a hotter or cooler plug

I would say go to a colder plug with your compression. Less chance of preignition.
